Both critics and fans were impressed with Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, which are lovingly recreated classics. A new update for the Tomb Raider Collection I-III Remastered has arrived today and it has a lot of fixes and changes, as well as new leopard skin suit which Lara will wear on her huge adventures. For now, here are all the details about the latest update that should be rolling out now.
Tomb Raider I-III Remastered – Update 2 Patch Notes
All games:
- Epic Games Store title builds now launch in full screen mode on first launch instead of windowed mode
- Lara’s character now disappears when the camera gets too close instead of going through her head
- Fixed an issue where Steam achievements would sometimes have incorrect descriptions
- The action indicator will not be displayed if Lara cannot interact with the object
- The “Ready to Attack” achievement is now unlocked when the appropriate conditions are met
- The “Exaggerated Threat” achievement is now only unlocked when the appropriate conditions are met
- The “Gifts of Wonderland” achievement is now unlocked when the appropriate conditions are met
- The default photo mode pose where Lara is not holding a weapon is now aligned between SD and HD modes
- Improved translation to various languages
- Dynamic lighting now more accurately matches the original games
- Added a special Vegas Nightmare outfit
- Bloody T-Rex Lara’s suit is now available in photo mode
- New photo pose mode
- Lara’s hair no longer expands/contracts in HD mode
- Fixed graphical issues on many doors where textures would flash quickly
- Improved rain, fire and smoke effects
Tomb Raider I:
- Windows in Natla’s Mines are now properly transparent
- Toned down the red mist effect in the scene with Natla setting the Scion to Atlantis level
- Lara can now destroy Scion with all weapons
- Updated lightning in the St. Francis Thor Room of Folly
- Updated missing textures in Lost Valley
- The glare control option is no longer grayed out in Tomb Raider I
- Updated skybox for Lara’s home
Tomb Raider II:
- Updated spider web textures in HD mode
- Lara now correctly grabs edges when running and holding grab buttons
- Fixed missing muzzle flashes in cutscenes
- Fixed camera jerking when Lara approaches a ledge in the Living Quarters
- Updated incorrect wall textures in The Deck
- Fixed a small gap between some textures in the Great Wall of China
- Lights in HD mode in Wreck of the Maria Doria now blink properly
- Wall textures in Maria Doria Shipwreck now match SD and HD modes
- Fixed small gaps between some textures in Venice
- Gondolas are now breakable regardless of the other ship’s position
- Correct chimney textures are now present in Bartoli’s Hideout HD mode
- Graphical overhaul of all levels of Wreck of Maria Doria
- The dome of the Opera House is now visible from the outside at the level of the Opera House
- Updated skyboxes for Lara’s Home, Tibetan Foothills, Barkhang Monastery
- Added missing waterfall to Xian Temple
- Music records are no longer repeated
Tomb Raider III:
- Quicksand updated for VFX in HD mode
- Leaf textures updated to be more transparent
- When Lara picks up her items back at the high security compound, all items now appear in the preview view when you pick them up
- 3D models of meteorite artifacts were not transparent in HD mode
- Updated hard-to-see platforms in Lost City of Tinnos in HD mode
- Updated missing textures in Lost City of Tinnos
- The black water texture is no longer visible in Lost City of Tinnos and Madubu Gorge
- Updated cave lighting in Madubu Gorge
- It is now clearer that some walls can be climbed in Madubu Gorge HD mode
- Updated lighting in RX-Tech Mines for HD mode
- Fixed missing textures in RX-Tech Mines in HD mode
- The crack is clearly visible in the ice wall in HD mode in RX-Tech Mines
