The most repeated predictions are the following:
- There will be no complete National Pokédex, something almost 100% confirmed
- The school(s) will play an important role in the story
- Pokémon Home will be required to transfer Pokémon
- There will be graphic improvements compared to previous installments
- The evolution of Sprigatito will be a lynx, although it is not clear if it will remain on all fours
- It will be a game with a somewhat precipitous launch and polish
- Fuecoco will break the theory that the initials of Fire are based on animals of the Chinese zodiac
- New methods of evolution are expected, as in almost all deliveries
- It is believed that the light will play an important role, as well as the types of Pokémon
- The capture system seems to return to the traditional mechanics and abandon that of Pokémon Legends
