New trailer and PC demo for the upcoming release Toree Saturn have been announced, with developer Siactro also reconfirming that a new entry will arrive at some point in 2024. This latest update also mentions the Nintendo Switch release.
When this new project was originally announced last September, there was no Nintendo announcement at the time, so here we go!
Here’s a sneak peek at what to expect from the latest entry in this speed-based 3D platformer series (via Steam):
“Run through linear levels from point A to B with a double jumping bird while dodging enemies, collecting stars (if you want) and getting all sorts of little speed boosts along the way.”
– Toree has two new moves! The player can now use ground dash in the air to descend faster and gain a speed boost when hitting the ground, as well as targeting special stars to gain height and movement boosts.
– New look! Toree Saturns art style tries to be a combination of late 90’s 3D with some of the crazier looks of the early Y2K era. It’s like a natural evolution of the art style of the previous games… I hope.
– Controlling Toree just got a lot easier!
No more Run-Buttons, which means players don’t have to hold down the right trigger for years.
Most actions (except the ground dash trigger) only use the Jump button.
