Zelda: TOTK has the best pick ability of BOTW, and not only that, but the ability itself is even more enhanced. The four abilities chosen in TOTK grant unique benefits that will make a clear difference in the challenges that we find in Hyrule. As part of the differences between BOTW and TOTK, Link cannot activate these abilities directly. However, there are other ways to do it…
Zelda: TOTK has the best chosen ability of BOTW and the way to activate it is different than in the prequel
By freeing the Divine Beasts from Ganon’s control, Link was made with several of these unique abilities. Link’s abilities and talent were enhanced in such a way that it could positively affect our effectiveness both in and out of combat. We can say that the best of these skills was Revali’s Gale. This ability provides a huge updraft of air that we can use with our paraglider. Technically this ability would not be available in TOTK but pay attention… we can prepare it!
Best of all, we can imitate it perfectly in the following way: First we will have to burn a hylian pine cone in a bonfire or a similar source of flame. After this we will be able to unleash a gust of ascending air like that of Revali’s Gale. In fact, if we go far enough to reach thethe Village of Rito
The use of this technique has more utilities, that’s why it makes it better than Revali’s Gale
If we burn one of these Hylian pine cones under a Zonai balloon, we can make this balloon ascend at a much faster speed. We can actually increase the speed with a Zonai Flamethrower. This can also help us so that vehicles can take us to more distant and high structures. In fact the fire will continue to burn even after the effects of the pine cone have worn off.
Besides we can use the explosion of the flare as a weapon, firing it directly into a bonfire or an enemy camp. This explosion can save us a lot of work and finish off our adversaries in the blink of an eye. For all of this and more, the Hylian Pine Cone is an upgraded version of Revali’s Gale from BOTW. Do you think the same?
