Nintendo’s live broadcasts come with all kinds of exciting news, and during the last ‘Partner Showcase’ in August, developer Nihon Falcom even got a surprise.
According to president of developer Toshiro Kondo, he was actually unaware that Nintendo would reveal Trails in the Sky the 1st during this particular broadcast. This information comes via a recent conversation with GNN (here’s what was said, thanks to Siliconera):
Siliconera: “Allegedly, Kondo did not know that Nintendo planned to hold a stream on that date, nor that he would choose to reveal Tracks in the sky 1 then. If the announcement surprised anyone, it was not his intention.”
He also took the opportunity to address the quality of the trailer – explaining how Nihon Falcom is “100% the company behind the trailer and the game” after some players accused the footage of being “too good for Nihon Falcom”.
