Ubisoft has announced that it has released a free demo for the charming Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope on the Nintendo eShop. The news comes as Ubisoft releases its first batch of downloadable content for the game, titled The Tower of Doooom. The new demo generously allows players to play the game’s entire prologue and part of the first planet and contains approximately two hours of gameplay. Players can explore Beacon Beach, unlock secrets, and fight enemies damaged by Darkmess.
“Today also marks the release of The Tower of Doooom, the first downloadable content for Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, available exclusively to Season Pass owners. This time, Mario, Rabbid Peach and their friends will enter a mysterious tower and meet its unusual landlady, Madame Bwahstrella, as she needs them to restrain Cursa’s minions, climb the Tower and free their old friend Spawny.
In this all-new combat-focused game mode, players will have to fight their way through procedurally generated battles to reach the top of the Tower. Starting with 4 Heroes and Sparks randomly selected from the full main game roster, players will need to build and upgrade their team throughout their expedition, strategically plan and adjust their tactics if they are to triumph against all odds.
In The Tower of Doom, the end is just the beginning, and players who succeed will unlock new expeditions with strong replay value, increased difficulty, and new cosmetic rewards. Built for both newcomers and tactical enthusiasts alike, this game mode combines the tactical gameplay of the main game with an added layer of strategy.”
