With E3 2020 officially canceled, game publishers and developers aiming to attend the event will need to start thinking about their options. One of E3's biggest and most consistent guests, Ubisoft, has commented on its plans for the event's cancellation.
The studio shared an update on social media, noting that it is "exploring other options with digital experience" to keep fans up to date with their news. This sounds like it could be a Nintendo Direct style presentation or something similar, which wouldn't be very surprising.
No doubt we will hear more publishers discussing their plans soon; we think the stations will be eager to use E3 week as an opportunity to showcase their games regardless of whether a traditional event actually takes place.
