Bleeping computer reports that Ubisoft had a data breach on December 20th, and that the company’s internal software and developer tools were leaked online. The news comes after the VX-Underground research collective shared screenshots of the company’s internal tools on social media. They chirped that individual had access for approximately 48 hours until the administration realized something was wrong and access was revoked. They intended to exfiltrate approximately 900 GB of data, but lost access. Ubisoft issued the following statement to A flashy computer.
“We are aware of the alleged data security incident and are currently investigating it. We have nothing more to share at this time,”
