, again. Now we’ve heard from the company that both Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope and Just Dance 2023 underperformed and fell short of sales expectations. Sparks of Hope has received a significant price drop here in the UK, just before the all-important Christmas shopping period.

“We are clearly disappointed with our recent performance. We are facing the opposite market dynamic as the industry continues to pivot towards mega-brands and perpetual live games, in the context of worsening economic conditions affecting consumer spending.”

“Despite excellent ratings and player reception, as well as an ambitious marketing plan, we were surprised by the poor performance of Mario + Rabbids® Sparks of Hope in the final weeks of 2022 and early January. Just Dance 2023 also underperformed.”
