By now you’ve probably heard the news from Insider Gaming that Ubisoft is reportedly working on a new Rayman game. The game is apparently a remake that is in early development, and goes by the code name “Project Steambo”. It’s also apparently where the Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown team was relocated after Ubisoft closed the studio.
Well, a Ubisoft spokesperson sent a statement to Kotaku officially confirming the rumors. They said that “we are pleased to confirm that Ubisoft Montpellier and Ubisoft Milan have recently begun the research phase of the Rayman brand. The project is still in the early stages and we will share more details later”.
