Archie Comics published comics for 2 major video game franchises, Sonic the Hedgehog and Mega Man. During this time, Worlds Collide and Worlds Unite, a couple of crossover comics featuring the 2 franchises, were made. Unfortunately, both were canceled years ago, with the former moving to IDW. However, there hasn’t been any news on what will happen to the Mega Man comics.
Well, that has changed now. Udon Entertainment has announced that they have acquired the licenses for Mega Man, Mega Man X, Mega Man Z, Mega Man Legends and Mega Man ZX. According to Udon Entertainment, new comics based on various Mega Man series will begin publishing in 2025. There is currently no information about artists and writers.
