UK Charts: Crossing Animals: Fall of New Horizons Falls 81% on Nintendo Disappointment Week

UK chart data is now for the week ending March 28, revealed that Crossing the Animals: New Horizons it has fallen from it winner in first place third.

Nintendo's health has seen its weekly sales decline by 81% in stores, while Call of Duty: Modern Wars and FIFA 20 both saw last week's stats increase to help them start again for the second time in a row. Infoindustry.biz notes that sales of the Nintendo switchch game have dropped "across the board" this week, possibly thanks to stock issues with the console switch itself.

That does not mean that the UK sports market is dry. Real-time sales have been very effective, even with the closing of stores in recent weeks to combat the spread of coronavirus; Gamesindustry.biz says that compared to the week before the release of Animal Crossing, boxed game sales were up 124% in this regard.
