The latest monthly rankings for Europe’s biggest gaming market, the UK, have been released, with Sony’s PlayStation 5 taking the top spot with more than 50% of all console sales in 2023. The Nintendo Switch family of systems was the second best-selling hardware, although sales fell by more than 25% in 2023, and Xbox Series X|S consoles were in third place. The best-selling video game software in March 2023 was Capcom’s long-awaited Resident Evil 4 Remake, followed by Hogwarts Legacy, which will arrive on Nintendo Switch on July 25.
