The boxed top ten UK video game charts haven’t been published yet as they traditionally arrive tomorrow, however, Games Industry journalist Christopher Dring, has revealed that the best-selling boxed game for the week of 19th September until 25th September was Nintendo’s very own Splatoon 3. This is the third week that Splatoon 3 has been No.1 though Dr ing says that sales are not approaching those we saw in Japan which is to be expected, but he says that the audience for the franchise is growing which is great news. He also went on to say that Splatoon 3 is unlikely to be No.1 next week as the newest FIFA game, FIFA 23, from EA launches on Tuesday and always proves to be a best-seller throughout Europe. The UK and Germany are the largest video game markets in Europe.
