Nintendo recently filed a number of GameCube-related trademarks here in the UK, prompting speculation that GameCube games could be the next batch of games added to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscriptions. The trademarks refer specifically to the beautiful Gamecube controller and its unique button layout. Nintendo has not yet confirmed Gamecube games for the Nintendo Switch Online service.
