For a while now, among fans of Super Smash Bros, there was the unwritten rule that if a character appeared as a spirit in Super Smash Bros Ultimate This later was not going to be part of the main roster as a fighter. Well it seems that this saying has been unconfirmed.
And, as you read in the title, it seems that the latter has been demonstrated with the latest spirit board event, that of Cuphead, since if we have the Cuphead DLC Mii suit, on the spirit board when Cuphead appears, the Mii Shooter will appear with the character suit already mentioned before, in addition to playing the theme of «Floral Fury». On the other hand, if we do not have the DLC, Mega Man will appear with a totally different theme. All this has been reported in a tweet where a user has noticed all this, we leave you with it:

We prefer to take it as a rumor, since although there are already indications of it, It is always better to wait for an official confirmation from Nintendo or the creator and director of the series, Masahiro Sakurai.
