Nintendo has been slowly but surely fleshing out its Switch Online + Expansion Pack service with new DLC content for games like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and also by bolstering its retro libraries with plenty of classic titles.
Knowing this could be a tad overwhelming for some players at this point, it’s now uploaded a guide on how exactly to redeem and download paid DLC when your Switch Online membership is active. Apart from the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass, you can see it’s also highlighted Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Splatoon 2’s Octo Expansion as well as the N64 app.
The Switch Online service has been chugging along at a steady pace over the past few months. Nintendo has added more ‘Missions’ and ‘Rewards, it’s updated the service’s mobile app, and in July it added two SNES titles, one NES game, and four Sega Genesis / Mega Drive games to the existing retro libraries. Pokémon Puzzle League joined the N64 service, too.
