Last week’s Nintendo Direct was a good one for Pikmin fans. Nintendo decided to show a lot of gameplay of Pikmin 4, and new information about the game was also discussed. They also announced enhanced ports of Pikmin 1 and Pikmin 2 that were released digitally on the same day as the Nintendo Direct. However, their last Pikmin related Direct announcement was news of a Pikmin 4 demo coming on June 28th.
Apparently that day came today so, as Nintendo promised, it has arrived. A free demo of Pikmin 4 is now available for download from the Nintendo Switch eShop. Pikmin 4 will be released on Nintendo Switch on July 21st. Nintendo released a preview trailer to celebrate the release of the demo, so you can check it out below.
