After a recent listing, here comes the confirmation of a new indie title for Nintendo Switch. The information has been offered today by its managers. Is about Void Bastards.
According to what was shared, the title will be available next May 7th in the console eShop. We leave you with its premise and its trailer:
Forget everything you know about first-person shooters: Void Bastards requires you to take command, not just aim and shoot. Your mission is to get the unfortunate Void Bastards out of the Sargasso Nebula. You decide where to go, what to do and what to face. And then, you have to carry out your strategy against strange and terrible enemies.
You will plan the mission aboard drifting spaceships, taking note of the ship's layout, obstacles and enemies you may encounter and what terminals and other systems you can take advantage of.
Move carefully around the dangerous ships, looking for supplies and manipulating control systems. React to what you find: will you take the detour to the generator to restore electricity or will you take control of the security module to disable the ship's defenses? Choose very well when to fight, when to run away and when to be a bastard.
Use the hard-to-get supplies to craft tools and weapons, from the flashy robogat to the shaky cluster bomb.
Navigate the vast nebula with your tiny escape pod. Flee pirates and whales from the void, and respectfully avoid hungry hermits. Meanwhile, you cannot stop recovering food, fuel and other resources that you need to live.
Void Bastards includes a 12-15 hour campaign that you can complete with an endless supply of prisoners, each with their own unique characteristics. When one dies, another rises to continue the fight. But don't worry, because manufacturing progress is preserved by changing prisoners.
