Fans of Zelda: The Wind Waker you will no doubt know that Tingle has a prominent role, more so than in Majora’s Mask even. What is this about? We have recently been able to find out why.
According to what was shared, the fact that Tingle appear frequently in the adventure and have your own island in The Wind Waker is because Takaya Imamura participated in the development. This Nintendo creative is known for having given rise to characters such as Captain Falcon, Fox McCloud and also Tingle and for this reason he acquires a leading role in Zelda: The Wind Waker.
“I was helping out on Zelda: The Wind Waker when it was still in its planning phase, but at the same time I was working on Star Fox Adventures with Rare, and I ended up having to focus on Rare,” Imamura shared with IGN. So if you ever wondered why Tingle appears so often in Wind Waker, now you know why.
