I'm so close to the end of Loco Motive I can almost smell it (gross). I'd really like to finish it this weekend before hopefully diving into Splatoon 3: Side Order before the year is out, BUT I have friends over so I'd be surprised if I played much more than a few rounds of golf on Nintendo Switch Sports.
and yes Marvel Rivals it couldn't have come at a worse time. I have games to switch, Moon Knight! Please stop threatening my sleeping hours with all this talk about Khonshu's power!

I still have Lorelei and the Laser Eyes to enjoy, but I can confirm that it jumped straight onto my GOTY list – what a game! Elsewhere I'd love to try Arco this weekend, although I've heard the Switch version isn't the most stable. Then a little research is required.
Otherwise, it's still Nine Sols and Tales of Kenzera: ZAU. Have a great time, folks.

You won't believe it, but I think this might be a Switch-free weekend for me. I know, I know.
The fact is that I recently received Armored core VI for my birthday, and I haven't had a chance to sink my teeth into it yet. That, along with enjoying Marvel Rivals with Felix, Jim, Craig and Aaron from the wider Hookshot staff, means I probably won't have time for anything Switch related until next week.
So there you go is Antonblast is coming, so that might shake things up a bit.

For some reason, I'm playing three extremely AAA games this weekend: Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Indiana Jones and the Great Circleand Red Dead Redemption 2. It was pretty weird between all of them — in RDR2 you take cigarettes and brandy as healing items, Indy beats up fascists with shovels, and I just hit the romantic part of Veilguard, which would be more interesting if it wasn't this weird, super-chaste hand-holding story or whatever . Where's the Dragon Age trash?!
Of the three, I enjoy Indy the most. Is he slavishly devoted to movies? That. But is that somehow cool? Also yes.
I'm also thinking if I should get the game for the Christmas holidays. I'm going to force myself to do nothing, on a three-week trip with my family. Maybe it's time to Fields of Mistria, finally!!!!

I really like how Stray builds the world using its environment. I find Neon Blood very interesting, but the arrival of my physical copy of Marvel Vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics might disrupt all other weekend plans. Arcade Archives: Viper Phase 1 was a nice surprise along with the amazing Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind, which should keep me busy until the holidays. Still, there's no excuse for me to skip my daily Fitness Boxing 3 workouts.
I game of the week is a return to an overlooked racing gem from eight months ago. After wrapping with Senna on Netflix, I jumped straight into my career except at New Star GP where I developed a bitter rivalry with fellow driver “Nigel Mawson”. It was all fun and games until Nigel snuck into our pits and repainted my F1 car bright pink and purple, forcing me to race in Brasilia in such an abomination. A few more GP races until the end of the season, but I can assure you that I will be using Nigel's car as a “braking aid” at every corner I see.
(… and did I mention there's a world 9 in Abathor!? Will this game ever end?)

I am currently deep into Nine Sols and absolutely loving it. The extremely satisfying clatter of the sword whenever you time your parry only it's really such a dopamine hit. I haven't hit any of the really hard bosses yet, but I'm so ready to have my ass handed to me.
I'd like to go back to Trails through Daybreak so I can be ready to continue, but I'm also 15 hours into Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake and want to finish that. Thank goodness the holidays are almost here! Please, don't buy any more games, Alana.
That's what we have planned for the weekend, what about you? Let us know in the next poll which games you plan to launch in the next few days.
