Well, it’s still a week away and I still haven’t finished Fire Emblem Engage. This game is really awesome and I continue to spend many hours in it as the missions get longer and longer. I’d really like to see this finished before Advance Wars 1+2: Reboot Camp comes out though it could be any day at this stage right?

Other than that, I will continue with The Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past on my GBA SP. I stand by what I always say: this is it best public transport console. I hands cramp a little on long trips, of course, but the game collection is just top notch.

I just downloaded Moonlighter on Switch because it was an insane £3 on sale, even though I already own it on Steam. I’ve never had a chance to give it a shot before, so maybe now I can!

Also, I’m continuing with my Stardew co-op farm. We’re about halfway through the fall of our first year, and we just got chickens. It’s really encouraging to play a game you know in front of you with someone who knows nothing about it and experience it through them.

Do you want the truth? Do you want real truth? I managed to figure out how to run the 1992 PC game Dune (my original CD copy) on my Steam Deck. I’ll command so many Fremen, send so many consignments of spices, and fly so many Ornithoptera blindly into the desert that you’ll be dizzy, Muad’Dib.

I’m more into Persona 4 Golden this weekend. I still absolutely love my time with him and honestly, I kind of don’t want it to end. Luckily, I probably still have dozens of hours ahead of me, so I’m good for a while!

I play in the second place Hi-Fi RUSH on Series X, and I really can’t believe how great this game is. It almost looks like a GameCube game in the best possible way! I just passed the section that featured The Prodigy’s “Conquerors must die” and I honestly haven’t felt this exhilarated playing a video game in a while.

No surprise, Theatrhythm Final Bar Line demo has me by the neck. I always say “Oh, I’ll just play one or two songs” and then an hour goes by and I’ve been playing a few songs over and over, trying to get that Perfect Chain on Ultimate. I’ve already progressed quite a bit and I’m completely addicted. Will I ever be able to do Supreme difficulty? Hah… probably not.

I also decided to replay Hollow Knight because I just can’t stop thinking about Silksong. Not that this makes the wait any easier — Hollow Knight is awesome, and within minutes of picking it up again, I remembered why it’s one of my favorite games ever. I have the Mothwing Cloak and I go back to find things I missed in places like Deepnest and Crystal Peak. Hornet, we have large expectations for your adventure.

Between the physical arrivals and the eShop, it’s certainly been a busy few weeks. While I’m finishing Fire Emblem Engage, I’m also pretty hooked on Trek to Yomi. I can’t really stay away from retro gaming as usual, so Cannon Dancer Osman and the Wonder Boy Anniversary Collection will also be getting some love this weekend.

Game of the week is Opus: Echo of Starsong. I know I’m late to the party, but after playing the physical edition of the OPUS Collection I jumped right on this gem. A modern masterpiece of character-driven storytelling that you shouldn’t miss.
