Well folks, another week has come and gone, and it sure seems like there’s been a lot to talk about regarding The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, doesn’t it?
First, of course, we got full confirmation from Nintendo that the latest Zelda game has managed to sell a whopping 10 million copies in just three days. It is simply stunning! We also looked at some of the best builds in the game so far, how people tortured those poor Koroks, and why people long for Purah.
But it’s not all about Zelda. Indeed, a brand new Mortal Kombat game has been confirmed to launch on the Switch this year, and so far it’s looking pretty sweet. There’s also a pretty fun announcement of Spongebob SquarePants content coming to Powerwash Simulator, along with confirmation that Sonic Prime will be returning to Netflix in July. cool!
But enough about that. Let’s move on to what we will be doing this weekend. Can anyone guess? Come on, it’s easy.

Of course, I’m still playing The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. How could I not? I feel like I’ve barely scratched the surface of this game, despite probably knocking out about 15 hours so far. I found some shrines, met Prince Sidon, annnd… That’s about it?
It’s so much fun exploring the world, diving into the abyss, discovering new things… What a game, man.

This weekend I will continue to play (drums please) Tears of the Kingdom! Yeah, no surprise there, I’m absolutely in love with this game. I keep vacillating between wanting to have a story under my belt and wanting to go and see every thing I pass. I could really do with just putting my head down and bookmarking some stories so I don’t have to be Enough Aware of spoilers next week, but I know I’ll come across an interesting side quest or a nice mountain and just like that, pufffour hours were wasted.
To be honest, that will probably be it for me. I’d love to go back and play some more Hollow Knight, but I’d be kidding myself if I thought I’d be able to put the Hylian adventure down long enough to sleep, let alone play another game.

Well, no surprise that I’ll be playing this weekend. For both the guides and my own personal enjoyment, I plan every waking moment I can spend with Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. I’ve already spent a ton of time with it, a few bosses in the main story and I’ve been combing the depths for treasure as much as possible, and it just absolutely blew me away in every possible way.
Normally at this point I’d think of a few other things to think about from the eShop a bit before Monday, but yeah, it’s all about Zelda right now. A game that almost makes Breath of the Wild look old. What a time to be alive!

A busy weekend ahead as I continue mine Nintendo 64 intrusion. Ultimate arcade fun is assured Murtop and incredible Bubble Bobble EveryBubble!, so look forward to it. More Taito action with Ray’z Arcade Chronology. I just can’t get enough of Zunta and I absolutely love it RayStorm. Also big Turrican Ultra Collector’s Edition it arrived after almost 3 years of waiting so I expect some sort of ‘shoot or die’ action to come.
Game of the week is The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. I skip the main quests and explore ‘Hyland’ all over again. I feel very humbled to play this game, every little journey is an absolute adventure.

Hello NL people! This weekend I’ll be doing my best to create absolute monstrosities using Link’s Ultrahand ability in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Oh, and making sure I use up all my Zelda Amiibo cards every day so I can fill my stable with a few Epona clones.
Outside of the Linkscapades weekend, I’ll be running Gears 5 on my Xbox Series X to get a few achievements I’m close to. Or if I’m really lucky, I can grab a few friends to try Omega Strikers!
Happy gaming!
Yep, lots of Zelda again this week. But what are you guys playing? Take the survey below and leave a comment with your weekend game plans.
