“What do you mean? I barely scratched the surface!”
It’s been a whole week since the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and most of us have spent it in a glorious Zelda stupor, a little stunned and confused by its enormity and how – even hours into it with a good knowledge of Hyrule’s layout from Breath of the Wild — looks like there’s still so much to see and do in this new game. Every evening this week went like this for us: Okay, too
Not only is the game great, but it’s refreshing to see such a big release come out that doesn’t create an online beef or controversy with its launch state or some inclusion/exclusion. TOTK is a rallying point for gamer positivity and creativity, and the perfect bookend (perhaps) for the Switch’s outstanding line of software.

However, the vast majority of players simply were enjoying himself the new Zelda and share their (mostly) healthy love online. It’s nice, isn’t it!? This writer took the Joy-Con off the Switch several times this week and marveled at how such a world could exist on this tiny, humble console.
