You already know that this game is an example of that Xbox is expanding the availability of its games on other platforms, and one of them has already arrived on Nintendo Switch: we are talking about Grounded. It was launched on April 16, 2024 on the console in digital format and now we have details of its new patch, after learning about its physical editions.
It comes after the recent comparison with PS5 and other consoles. We have patch 1.4.4 now available, and it includes the following:
- Grounded Update 1.4.4 on Xbox and Switch
- News for Switch:
- Gyroscope support (optional and configurable).
- Less choppy cutscene videos.
- The four-leaf clover cave is now rendered correctly.
- Microsoft accounts no longer permanently linked (unlinking and account switching possible).

- Login/hosting/join errors show more information.
- Changes in REMIX.D Yard:
- Reduced creature damage multiplier in New Game+ by 33%.
- Decreased the chance of spider infusion in the Hedge Broodmother fight by 50%.
- MIX.R spawns 10% more creatures in New Game+, instead of double.
- Reduced the area of effect of Mint Infusion’s attack.
- Optimizations:
- Important fixes:
- Fixed a client crash when repairing buildings.
- Fixed a crash when using charged bow attacks and certain armor.
- Fixed a crash when loading a saved game with a pet.
- Additional random crash fixes.
