As you progress through the story, you will encounter some special characters called “Heroes” (Japanese name). Those heroes will join your party, and if they end up joining forever (meaning you have to “recruit” them first), they’ll fight alongside Noah and the others.
Two of them have been presented:
- Riku (voiced by Sayaka Senbongi in Japanese), a Nopon from Colony 9 in Keves (like Noah and his friends), who sports rather thick eyebrows. Back at the colony, he is a mechanic in charge of both crafting and maintaining the Iron Giant. He is an enthusiastic Nopon who always remains calm, no matter the situation, and his advice to Noah and the others is worth heeding. Do the weapons need any maintenance? Riku is your Nopon!
- Manana (voiced by Aya Suzaki in Japanese), a Nopon who comes from Agnus and a partner of Mio and the others. As if her chef touch wasn’t clear enough, her specialty is cooking. Her skills are unmatched, so it’s no wonder she was in charge of cooking in her former colony. Manana is literally obsessed with food, so if you want something that can be used as an ingredient during your adventure, make sure to give it to Manana so she can prepare a delicious dish! Manana is sure to brighten up your travels with her cheerful personality.
Riku and Manana participate in the battle as a couple. Their battle role is Attacker, and they use their attacks to weaken enemies.
