Specifically, we talk about the release of the official soundtrack in Japan. These are the details:
- This soundtrack celebrates the first anniversary of the game, which will take place on July 29, 2023.
- The original soundtrack of this game will be released on that date and will be available in a beautiful limited edition that includes a total of 140 tracks (about 9 hours of music) on 9 CDs. All the music from the Expansion Pass is included as well.
- In addition to the CDs, it also includes:
- Two mini 1/3 scale replicas of the flutes used to record the music, one of “Seishin no Fue” (Noah’s flute) and another of “Kishin no Fue” (Mio’s flute)
- A card featuring the new illustration by Masatsugu Saito with imprinted signatures of the composers on the back
- 80-page booklet (with many sections only available in Japanese)
- The original soundtrack will also be available in a standard edition starting August 2.
- That same day the album of the soundtrack of Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition featuring 99 tracks on 5 CDs, including newly arranged tracks and newly composed tracks for the Connected Futures epilogue.
- Finally, it has also been announced the Xenoblade Chronicles: Trinity Box from the Xenoblade Chronicles Original Soundtrack, a box set that includes the soundtracks of the 3 main Xenoblade Chronicles games.
