Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio director Masayoshi Yokoyama said in a recent livestream that the recently released Yakuza Kiwami for the Nintendo Switch family of systems is currently “selling like hell.” Yokoyama went on to say that “company executives were forecasting the number of units. I missed it by a long way. I think I looked at it a little too conservatively.” The game is only available digitally through the Nintendo eShop, although Limited Run Games will release a physical edition at a later date.
