As we informed you, after the leak of the Persona 3 Reload trailer, as well as that of Persona 5 Tactica, these Persona games were officially announced. Yes, they have already been officially announced and now we have a detail of one of them.
Is about Persona 5 Tactics, which has been confirmed for November 17, 2023 on Nintendo Switch. Now we bring you statements about their designs.
It will have reminded many of you Person Q, and it is normal because in the development designs of this game were used. In an interview with Weekly Famitsu, P Studio General Producer Kazuhisa Wada shared that during the testing phases of the new turn-based strategy game, the team initially used “character designs taken directly from the Persona Q series.” In the end though, the team opted to redesign everything from scratch.
Tactica’s art director Hanako Oribe also spoke about this with Weekly Famitsu, clarifying that the new game isn’t a follow-up to Persona Q or something similar just because of the art style. She adds that the proportions in Tactica have been adjusted to emphasize “the size of the hands and feet,” resulting in a more comic-book look. The intention behind this choice is to make characters stand out more during battles.
We look forward to this installment. For now it seems that the other new game, Persona 3 Reload, will not be coming to the hybrid console, despite two recent listings.
