Next month is a busy time for Square Enix, with no two memories but two outings.
This has gotten many fans of the company wondering what else to bring back. While Square Enix didn't say anything official, in a recent interview with Game Reactor, animation producer Yoshinori Kitase – who recently filmed the performance Final Rule VII: Release – asked what game he would like to release next. Here's what he had to say:
Well, first of all, you have to promise that you won't write an article that says Square Enix is coming back with Final Fantasy for something, something … You are a personal idea, so you just understand that. With that mindat in place, the first final thought I worked on for myself was Final Fantasy V, which hasn't been revealed in the genre of reality yet, so I thought it might be fun to do a repeat FF5 someday.
