The English version of Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana is on its way to the Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4 and Playstation 5. While a leak a few days ago already confirmed the existence of the localization, it’s now official with XSEED’s announcement trailer setting the score straight and giving fans publication deadline in early 2025 to mark it on their calendars.
The trailer confirms that English voice acting will be included in this release, and that features from the Japanese version will also remain. The first physical edition for Switch and PS5 called “Refined Edition” was also shown in the trailer – a collector’s edition with several goodies and bonuses, including a soundtrack disc, a set of postcards, a set of diorama and even a microfiber cloth with the main character Elena games.
“Ys Memoire: Oath of Felghana follows thrill-seeking protagonist Adol and his blond companion Dogi as they return to Dogi’s homeland of Felghana. The eight years they’ve been gone hasn’t been kind to the lands, which are now filled with roaming monsters, a newly active volcano, and a greedy new overlord who’s extorting its long-suffering inhabitants. While Dogi seeks help from his former master, Adol stays to help the locals, only to find himself embroiled in a world of conspiracies and ancient legacies.
With remastered visuals and high definition music, the epic adventure has never looked or sounded better. Additional features include multiple versions of the comprehensive soundtrack, accessibility features, and all-new character artwork, making Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana the definitive edition of the acclaimed masterpiece.”
