Get ready for the next chapter the legend of zelda series: The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom game for Nintendo Switch family of systems launches this week, September 26th. What is about to unfold is a story of mystery and danger – with Princess Zelda possessing new powers and abilities!
If you’re looking for some new gear before embarking on this adventure, Nintendo Switch Lite: Hyrule Edition with Bonus Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack the package also arrives on September 26th. In this latest adventure, the people of Hyrule are being stolen from within strange cracks that appear across the land. With the help of an ethereal creature named Tri and the powerful Three Horns, Princess Zelda bravely embarks on a quest to save her kingdom. This latest Legend of Zelda adventure includes new features such as:
- Echoes: Using the Tri Rod, Zelda can create echoes – imitations of things in the environment. Echoes can then be recreated to help solve puzzles and can be combined for creative problem solving, such as using water blocks to reach new heights, making bridges out of old beds, throwing rocks at enemies and more. Zelda can even create monster echoes to fight alongside her in battle!
- Linking and reverse linking: When echoing isn’t enough, Tri can lend Zelda an unusual power called Bind, which forces objects to follow Zelda’s movements. Alternatively, Reverse Bond allows Zelda to track the movement of an object. With these abilities, players can find multiple ways to overcome obstacles and solve puzzles.
- Still World: To save those stolen by the rifts, Zelda and Tri must enter the Tranquil World – a strange, twisted landscape. Each entry point leads to a special area with unique terrain. In some locations, they’ll even find dungeons to conquer with challenging bosses awaiting their arrival.
- Swordsman Form: While exploring the Peaceful World, Zelda finds a mysterious sword that allows her to transform into a powerful swordsman form. The sword meter can be replenished by collecting energy found in the Tranquil World. When or where you choose to use this power is up to you. With her mighty strength, she can advance when her path is blocked, take down enemies on her own, and even fight with echo.
- Vending machines: Hyrule is also home to many unusual characters, some of whom will be of great help – including Dampé, a clockwork gizmo engineer who has a knack for creating automatons. These unusual creations can help Zelda with surprisingly powerful abilities that set them apart from echoes. But be careful because they will disintegrate if they take too much damage.
- And more: Additional features include waypoints that make traveling through Hyrule even faster, an adventure log to track quests, smoothies with different effects (including health regeneration), as well as clothing and accessories that can enhance certain abilities!
