In this brand new adventure in the legend of zelda series, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom game for Nintendo Switch system family, Princess Zelda must embark on a dangerous quest to save Hyrule and its people from strange rifts that have appeared across the land. The game releases on September 26th, but today you can check out a new trailer that features more details about the game, including the mysterious Still World, dungeons, and Zelda’s striking swordsman form.
The rifts that penetrate the kingdom of Hyrule lead to the mysterious Tranquil World, full of challenges to overcome and dangers to face – where trees, shards of earth, people and other objects have been swallowed and now float in the void. With the help of the ethereal creature Tri, Princess Zelda is able to enter the Tranquil World from the rifts located around Hyrule, where she will encounter dungeons to explore and bosses to face. Exploring what lies within those rifts will require Zelda to pave the way with her ability to create echoes – imitations of objects and creatures found in the environment, a power she now wields thanks to Tri and the Tri Rod.
In addition to creating echoes to solve puzzles and fend off enemies, Princess Zelda can take a mysterious sword and the form of a powerful swordsman, allowing her to directly attack her enemies. But be careful: it can only stay in this form for a short time. Fortunately, Zelda can replenish this limited resource by collecting energy that can be found in the Tranquil World. Pick your battles and time things just right, and Zelda can defeat even the strongest opponent with her skilled sword strikes.
Plus, Tri isn’t the only one to help Princess Zelda on her journey. Along the way, Zelda will encounter several people who will be of help to her – including the cunning engineer Dampé, who can create automatons for Zelda to use. Wind them up and discover what each one will do – just make sure they don’t break due to too much damage!
Hyrule needs a wise hero galore, and Princess Zelda heeds the call! Discover the challenges Zelda will face in this grand adventure to save her kingdom. Will the power of the Three Rods and the strength of her abilities, including her swordsman form, be enough to win?
