Remember that rumored Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Switch OLED model that leaked late last year? Well, there seems to have been a small but significant discovery.
Twitter account Nintendo deal noted that the symbols shown in the ‘leaked images’ of the rumored Switch match the iconography shown on the collector’s edition of the game, which was announced earlier this week during a Nintendo Direct presentation.
Note that this doesn’t necessarily confirm anything, but it’s interesting to see a supposedly leaked image with the same icon. Nintendo has also released several themed units over the past year for key releases such as Splatoon 3 and Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.
You can find out more about the Tears of the Kingdom collector’s edition in the announcement post. It will release alongside the standard edition on May 12th for $129.99, and includes a physical version of the game, an art book with concept art, a steel case, an iconart steel poster, and a set of four pins.
