Original article [Wed 3rd Apr, 2024 12:00 BST]: Japanese clothing retailer Uniqlo has announced a new range of t-shirts based on The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (thanks, VGC).

Launch in Japan today April 26, 2024 At ¥1,500 (approx. $10 / £8) each, the range consists of six designs based on Nintendo’s sublime sequel Breath of the Wild , which launched on Switch in May 2023. At the time of writing, no western release has been confirmed for the range, but based on previous collaborations, we’re confident Uniqlo will be bringing them over shortly after the initial launch in Japan.

The shirts are really beautiful and we are especially delighted with them The age of design and Addison designand both feature subtle, tasteful depictions of their characters on the shirt’s breast pockets.

Other designs include a red Bokoblin shirt, a black shirt featuring Link and Zelda with the quote ‘Please lend him your power’ front and center, and a fairly simple black design that includes a picture of Link and the supporting characters.

The good news is that all shirts are available in sizes XXS all the way up to 4XL, so if you’re interested in packing one (or all), you can be sure that Uniqlo will have something available in your size.

Uniqlo has released several fantastic series based on popular video game franchises in the past, including the Final Fantasy franchise, Animal Crossing and Super Mario.
