The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom may have been out for over a week now, but there’s still a lot of excitement and discussion surrounding Nintendo’s latest game. However, you may be interested to know that this excitement and discussion would have happened a year ago, if things had gone according to plan from the start.
You see, Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma recently spoke to The Washington Post about The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. In an interview, he revealed that the game was supposed to come out last year. In fact, by the time March 2022 arrived and the delay was announced, the game was almost complete. Still, Aonuma says they delayed because they “wanted to make sure everything in the game was 100 percent up to our standards.” The past year has been spent polishing the game and making sure “the game’s wild physics just work.”
