Holly Jackson’s wildly popular YA thriller series, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, is soon to be adapted for television after gaining huge success on BookTok.
The New York Times bestseller follows amateur detective Pip Fitz-Amobi, who attempts to solve a mysterious murder that occurred five years ago, leading to huge ramifications. There are two other books in the series: Good Girl, Bad Blood and As Good as Dead. However, only the first novel will be retained for the moment.
If you want to know how to watch this upcoming mystery, we’ve got everything you need to know.

How to watch A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder in the early US
Americans can easily watch A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder starting July 1, 2024 if they use a VPN (virtual private network). This software redirects your IP address so that you can browse the Internet as if you were based in another location.
For the best price and performance, we recommend NordVPN and SurfShark – check out our roundup of the best VPNs to learn more.
BBC iPlayer now also requires you to create an account before streaming, which helps ensure all viewers have a valid TV licence. The BBC says the purpose of the account is not to go after iPlayer users who haven’t paid for a TV licence, but has admitted it will cross-reference email addresses with people who have previously claimed they don’t need a TV licence.
A second problem is that you will need to provide a valid UK postcode to register. Learn more in our guide on how to watch BBC iPlayer abroad.
