Computex is a technological event in which we see very interesting developments and, sometimes, eye-catching products. Nocturnal, one of the best manufacturers of CPU fans and heatsinks, demonstrated some products at this event. Above all, it highlights a Power source developed with Seasonalher own All-in-one liquid coolingHey, a wine bottle cooler.
The Austrian brand is known for its earthy-colored fans and their high quality. For many years they resisted, but they opened their hands and now offer black and white fans. Fortunately, it only holds up to the inclusion of RGB lighting.
On their stand at Computex, they present different solutions to us, most of them in prototype form. There are several things that attract attention, such as a type of support or a system that helps create directional airflow. It is also striking that they created a refrigeration system for wine.
Noctua already has a power supply and RL AIO
The first product that stands out among all the new products is the power supply developed between Seasonic and Noctua. One of the world’s best power supply manufacturers and one of the best fan manufacturers have joined forces. As a result of this collaboration, we have the Seasonic Prime TX-1600.
This power supply has a power of 1600 watts. Includes a custom NF-A1 (12×25) fan created specifically for this powerful PSU. No information has been given on operating speeds, it is only indicated that it is of the “Zero dB” type for a load less than 50%. The maximum sound volume listed for this fan is only 8-10 dB at most. It is fully modular and has ATX 5.1 and PCIe 5.1 (12V-2×6) connectors. It has 80Plus Titanium and Cybernetics ETA Titanium certifications, which would launch in the last quarter of the year.
The NVIDIA GH200 heatsink prototype draws our attention to Noctua’s presentation. The solution created by the company is the combination of two NH-U12As combined. According to what the company tells us, in prototype format, it would have a TPD of 1,000 watts. It would be launched in the last quarter of the year and would only be supplied to specialist customers.
Another item that catches our attention is all-in-one liquid cooling. This would be the company’s first RL AIO and is currently in the prototype phase. Something surprising, since to date they had never been introduced in this segment.
There are more curious elements, such as an airflow amplification system. You can see a mobile system that allows you to install a 120mm fan and, through a coupling, create a directional airflow. It is presented within the Noctua Home range, which are not IT solutions, it seems focused on domestic use. Precisely, among this range of products we have Kaelo, a system for refrigerating wine bottles.
In addition, other quite interesting products were presented. A controller that can accommodate up to 8 PWM fans stands out from these other products. They also introduced new rubber frames to reduce vibration and rubber corners to dampen vibration as well.
