AMD is prudent in choosing which CPUs to upgrade to advance to the features that will put Intel in a bind. The three processors represent a different range for each of them, being at the center of the Ryzen 5 3600XT range, Ryzen 7 High Intensity range 38 3800XT and Ryzen High Level 9 3900XT.
Apparently they are a direct response to Intel, when the cat is being taken out of the water for games and its series of Comet Lake-S processors. So the Ryzen 5 3600XT will compete in the range against the i5-10600K, the Ryzen 7 3800XT against the i7-10700K and the Ryzen 9 3900XT against the mighty i9-10900K, but what are the new features that AMD has added to these commentary processes to make them brand new? like Renewing Matisse?
Well, trust is a slight difference between these new systems and the original Ryzen 3000 despite having a different year between them. For example, the smallest of these, the Ryzen 5 3600XT is a six-speed, twelve-speed CPU with a base speed of 3.8 GHz and access to Boost of 4.5 GHz, where it stores 32 MB of L3, 95 watts TDP, same build of Zen 2, same process for TSMC 7nm lithographic and obviously the same socket.
This only represents a 100 MHz improvement in the Boost frequency of this CPU compared to its previous one, where this new Ryzen 5 3600XT gets a price proof: $ 249.
Matisse update, a few developments to try to compete with Intel
This image is completely similar to the two remaining models, because the improvements are small. The Ryzen 7 3800XT relies on an 8-core, 16-wire CPU with a base frequency of 3.9 GHz and Boost of 4.7 GHz to maintain its 32 MB L3, 105 TDP, Zen 2 to be manufactured and produced by TSMC at 7nm with socks AM4.
As for the Ryzen 9 3900XT we’re talking about a basic 12U-24-core CPU at 3.8 GHz with a Boost of 4.7 GHz, with 64 MB of L3, 105 TDts of TDP, Zen 2, TSMC at 7 nm and socks AM4.
So, the first upgrade about the Ryzen 7 3800X is only 200 MHz, and in the latest case we’re talking about 100 MHz more. Of course, they both found evidence of the price at which the original models were, at $ 399 and $ 499 respectively, that is, the Matisse Refresh range of adsorbs showed the original prices of their fans and decreased in cost.
Availability is imminent and should be in the next few days if not hours at supermarkets around the world.
