May 11, 2021 has become a key day for laptop enthusiasts the game.
First, Intel announced an expanded line of Tiger Lake-H series processors, aimed at delivering high-end games that we haven’t seen in their 11th gen processors until now.
These new chips are at the top of Intel’s Tiger Lake lineup, ahead of the arrival of the 12th generation Alder Lake at the end of 2021.
Then came Nvidia, the world’s leading manufacturer of discrete graphics cards. The American company’s new RTX 3050 and 3050 Ti GPUs are the most affordable it has made for laptops, and they aim to be included in devices starting at just $ 799 (around $ 560). Along with the 3060, 3070, and the flagship 3080, there are now more GPU options for laptops than ever before.
These two releases have sparked a wave of new announcements from gaming laptop makers keen to be among the first to include these new processors and GPUs in their Equipment. A total of nine companies have already launched new devices, and many more are expected in the near future.
Without further ado, here are all the laptops confirmed to be released with the Tiger Lake H series and RTX 30 series built in.

Samsung Galaxy Book Odyssey

It makes sense to start with Samsung, given that the Korean company introduced the new Galaxy Book Odyssey almost two weeks before Intel or Nvidia made any official announcements.
This 2021 update combines Intel Core-H i5 or i7 processors with a choice of RTX 3050 or 3050 Ti GPUs. This powers the 15.6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) display, while there’s also up to 32GB of RAM and a maximum of 2TB of SSD storage.
The device will only be available in “Mystic Black” when it hits the market at the end of the summer. International availability has yet to be revealed.
Acer – Predator Triton, Predator Helios 300, Nitro 5

The top-of-the-line Predator Triton (pictured) may come with an RTX 3080 GPU, but Acer’s other new laptops have the option of RTX 3050 graphics on base models.
The Predator Helios 300 combines Tiger Lake H-series processors with 32GB of RAM, while the 15.6-inch display is available in 1080p at 360Hz or QHD at 165Hz.
A more affordable option is the Nitro 5. There are still two models, but you can choose between a 15.6-inch display and a 17.3-inch display, both with a 165Hz refresh rate. Interestingly, the bigger device is cheaper.
Lenovo – Legion 7i, Legion 5i Pro, Legion 5i

Lenovo has released three new laptops with the Tiger Lake-H series, although only the Legion 5i is designed for novice gamers.
The Legion 7i (pictured) is Lenovo’s top-of-the-line gaming laptop, and the specs reflect that. It offers new Intel chips up to the highest specifications Core i9-11980K, as well as GPUs up to RTX 3080. The story is similar with the Legion 5i Pro, although with a Core i7-11800H and RTX 3070 at most. Both feature 16-inch 16:10 screens with a 165Hz refresh rate.
Although more affordable, the Legion 5i has a choice of 15.6- and 17-inch models. The former can achieve a resolution of 2560×1440 and a refresh rate of 165Hz. To cover this additional screen space, the 17-inch version upgrades to Full HD (1920×1080) and 144Hz.
Dell / Alienware – XPS 15, G15, Alienware m15 R6

Dell has announced a steady stream of new products in recent months, three of the last four including the option of new Nvidia GPUs.
This includes the new XPS 15 (pictured) and XPS 17, although these devices are not intended for gamers. The m15 R6 is: it has a Core i9-11900H, GPU up to RTX 3080 and a maximum of 32 GB of RAM. All of this powers a Full HD or QHD (2560×1440) display, with a choice of 144Hz, 165Hz, and 360Hz for the refresh rate.
Then there’s the more affordable G15, offering Tiger Lake-H series chips to the Core i7 and “the latest RTX 30 series graphics”. In this case, you only get a Full HD (1920 x 1080) screen at 120Hz or 165Hz.
MSI – Creator Z16, Creator 17 Creator M16

MSI has updated a lot of their notebooks to Tiger Lake-H, but here we’re focusing on their range of creations.
The Creator Z16 (pictured) offers a choice of a Core i7-11800H and a Core i9-11900H, as well as the RTX 3060 and a 120Hz QHD + touchscreen, with an aspect ratio of 16:10.
The Creator M16 retains the latter, but instead only includes Nvidia’s new RTX 3050 Ti and the Core-H i7. In addition to the increased screen size, the Creator 17 offers options for a Core i9 and RTX 3080, as well as a mini LED display.
Tiger Lake-H chips have also made their way to MSI’s gaming laptop lineup: the GE76, GE66 Raider, GS76 Stealth, GS66 Stealth, GP76 Leopard, GP66 Leopard, GL76 Pulse, and GL66 Pulse have all been released. up to date. Asus – ROG Zephyrus M16, ROG Creator M16

The focus of this latest release has been the premium Zephyrus line, with the announcement of the Zephyrus M16 and S17. The former combines Intel’s H-series chips with Nvidia GPUs up to the RTX 3070. They help power a 16-inch QHD display in 16:10 aspect ratio, which is very rare in gaming laptops.
The top-of-the-line Zephyrus S17 has a Core i9-11900H and RTX 3080, one of the highest specs achievable on any laptop. It also has 16GB of vRAM, although Asus has not revealed all the details of this device.
HP ZBook Studio G8

HP has announced three new entries in its ZBook line, but only one comes with the latest components from Intel and Nvidia.

Razer’s updated laptops may be limited to the Blade 15 (pictured) for now, but there’s a lot to say. The company claims the updated PC is the thinnest 15-inch gaming laptop with RTX graphics, at just 15.8mm.
However, this version is limited to an RTX 3060 GPU and Intel’s Core i7-1180H, as well as a 120Hz QHD display.
The high-spec model is slightly thicker, but it gives you the high-end RTX 3080 and Core i9-11900H in the more expensive configurations. This is also where you’ll find a 4K OLED display, although it’s limited to 60Hz.

Gigabyte has announced a huge lineup of new gaming laptops in its Aero and Aorus lines, but all of the new devices have a lot in common.
