In recent years we have seen some manufacturers adopt a design similar to that of an aquarium, with one side and one front with tempered glass panels. The latest manufacturer to launch such a design is ASUS with the GT502 Horizon model, a design that also has a military look.
New ASUS GT502 Horizon PC case
The new GT502 Horizon range is, one could say, the big brother of the GT502 already available in the catalogue. The main new feature of this new model is the compatibility with a ARGB Lighting Kit
This kit, which adds additional lighting ARVB Inside the box, giving it a very striking appearance, it includes two L-shaped light bars located at the top and bottom of the area where the tempered glass is located.
The exterior of the box features a military themed design with the texts TUF Gaming in front and side overprint. In addition, it has two handles that can support up to 30 kg at the top to facilitate its transport from here to there, preventing it from slipping from our hands.
The ASUS GT502 Horizon PC case is compatible with ATX skirting boards standard and lower (although it doesn’t make sense to use it with smaller plates). The maximum height of the heat sink
Regarding cooling, the box consists of 4 fan brackets which supports up to 3 fans: one at the top, one at the bottom, one on the side and one at the back, for a total of 13 120mm fans.
He has a design of dual camera. In the camera that we see, there is the motherboard, the graphics card, the processor and so on, while in the rear camera, the one that we don’t see, there are the storage units and the power supply as well as the cables.
Regarding the possibility of adding storage unitsThe ASUS GT502 Horizon includes space for four 2.5 and 3.5-inch drives which, as we mentioned in the previous paragraph, are located at the back.
As a good PC case, there is no need to use any type of tool since the panels can be mounted and removed using the hidden buttons located on the back of the chassis. The GT502 model currently sold by ASUS is priced at 169.99 dollars. This upgraded version shouldn’t be much more expensive, since the main difference is the support for the RGB light strips we talked about.
