ASUS partners with Noctua to launch its best liquid cooling yet

ASUS, manufacturer of laptops, monitors, PC components and peripherals, offers us a wide range of products that cover all needs. Within the range of products for cooling the CPU, we have a wide range of models that cover all needs and to which a new model has just been added.

We are talking about the ProArt LC 420, a new brand that adds to those already offered by this manufacturer within all-in-one water cooling units and which is aimed at professionals. This new model, created in collaboration with Noctua, h as a 420mm radiator

equipped with 3 fans from the Austrian 140mm manufacturer, more precisely the PWM NF-A14 model.

This fan is designed for industrial equipment and offers very quiet operation compared to most fans that can be found on the market. The pumping unit is equipped with a motor three high performance layers Designed to reduce temperature as much as possible, generating the minimum possible noise.

This new liquid cooling model created by ASUS in collaboration with Noctua, in addition to offering excellent cooling for industrial equipment, also includes a lighting system that offers visual information on CPU performance (temperature, performance, usage and more) for make adjustments to its operation if necessary from the PC itself with the Aura Sync program.

The ProArt LC 420 fan has a revolution range which varies from 800 to 2000 rpm, offers air flow

of 107 CFM with 182.5 cubic meters per hour and a sound level of 31.5 dBA. The static pressure is 4.18 mm, the radiator has dimensions of 140 x 456 x 30 mm and the CPU block 78 x 78 x 49 mm. The cooling tube measures 450 mm, it has a braided mesh cuff to provide greater durability, flexibility and compatibility.

This new model does not yet appear on the Spanish ASUS website, so we do not know its price or availability on the market. The American version also does not list the price in dollars.

Liquid Cooling vs Air Cooling

The main advantage that liquid cooling gives us over air cooling is the noise level, a much lower noise level, its most negative point being the price, much higher than any air cooler. For most users, it is more than enough to use an air cooler, provided that our needs are not very high (professional environments) and that the noise emitted by the fans when they are at maximum is not annoying. .
