Which Air Fryer Should You Buy?
But when you’re ready to buy, don’t go for the first thing you see. Start by making a list of your needs. Here are some questions to ask yourself:
- How much space can you spare? You’ll need a dedicated spot on your counter to get the most out of your air fryer.
- How many people do you cook for? Air fryers come in a variety of sizes. In some ways, it makes sense to get the largest you have room for, although there is a caveat. One of the main reasons to use an air fryer over an oven is to save electricity. Larger air fryers tend to be more power hungry which will wipe out some of your savings.
- Would a multifunctional device be a better buy? Some air fryers can also steam, broil, slow or pressure cook, or function as a rice cooker. You could save space in your kitchen by buying an appliance that does different types of cooking.
When weighing options, give weight to trusted brands like Ninja and Instant. It may be worth paying a little more for a device of one of these names than for an unknown brand.
