When was the Google Pixel Watch released?
The Pixel Watch was officially launched at a “Made by Google” event on October 6, 2022where we also saw the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro.
After its release on October 13, it is now on sale in nine countries: the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, Germany, France, Japan, Australia and Taiwan.
How much did the Google Pixel Watch cost at launch?
The Pixel Watch is a high-end smartwatch, and the price Google chose at launch reflects that.
- Pixel Watch (Wi-Fi only) – $349.99 / £349 / $379
- Pixel Watch (Wi-Fi and LTE) – $399.99 / £379 / $429
Note that only one active band is included in this price. There are over 20 in total, many of which are only available directly from Google. They usually start at $49.99 / £49.
For context, the watch itself is cheaper than the Apple Watch Series 8 (from $399/£419/$499) and the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro (from $449.99/£429 /$429). However, some of the regular Galaxy Watch 5 configurations (from $279.99/£269/$299) are more affordable.
