LOSS, this game that we all know can be played on any device with a microchip, returns to the forefront in collaboration with a company that manufactures extremely powerful objects… to mow down the lawn. And in one of the latest news that we could find online we saw how Husqvarna, a company that sells lawn mowers, has decided to celebrate 30 years of this game in the most original way possible.
Last year, 2023, the thirtieth anniversary of the legendary game of eliminating demons in the most brutal way possible took place, and many companies have decided to pay tribute to it, offering various content related to the game. This what no one expected was that a company dedicated to the sale of robot lawn mowers would join this celebration, offering the possibility of running this video game from the 90s on some of its latest released units.
This lawnmower lets you play DOOM… for a limited time
During the DreamHack In the winter of 2023, which took place three months ago in Sweden, a project was presented aimed at implementing LOSS on a Husqvarna brand lawn mower, a total success seeing how it works perfectly. The controls are extremely basic, because as we know, the demon slayer video game does not have extremely complicated mechanics, so the movement of the character, as well as the actions he performs, can be controlled directly from the wheel which allows us to adjust the intensity of this robotic device.
This is why, since April 9, those who own a model of the Husqvarna Automower Nera, you will be able to enjoy this video game, to do this you will need to update the software of your lawn mower using the free Automower Connect application. Although, as we well know, all good things must come to an end at some point, it will only be possible to play the legendary shooter from April 9 to September 9, 2024, i.e. over a period of only 6 months.
What will be the next device?
It is not strange to note a growing tendency to attempt to execute LOSS into any type of device, and we saw how it was possible to move it into any product with minimal electronics, such as a pregnancy test. But we also saw how it was possible to run the game in another game, like we saw when they did it in Minecraft, or its sequel, DOOM II, and it looks like this game can really be incorporated into anything.
And with any who is it We are literally referring to any type of object or even living being, taking into account that they managed to make this game work even in a cell, even though completing it would take 600 years. That is why it seems more and more difficult for us to know which device will be the next on which we will see that we can play games. LOSSbut apparently, they will always find a way to surprise us.
