Although Cyberpunk 2077’s launch was a disaster, the game has built up a huge user base. So much so that many have started developing different items that complement this game. The idea of the game developers is to make it easier for users, so you can easily add these items.
Cyberpunk 2077 receives mods with open arms
This new tool called REDMod allows the integration of different types of content. allows the users adjust the experience to every user who loves the streets of Night City.
This element will be Simple and free DLC that allow users to easily integrate sounds, animations and other elements created by the community. Additionally, according to the game’s developers, “it will be continuously updated with game patches to ensure compatibility.”
We must emphasize that this element will only be available for the desktop version of the game Cyberpunk 2077. The console version therefore remains outside of this possibility, which is generally quite common. This is one of the reasons why many users prefer a PC for playing games over a console.
Currently the DLC is already available on Steamfor free and also in the CD Projekt RED official website. From the Polish company, they guarantee that the installation and use of the tool will not affect the functioning of game mods that can already be added by the user.
But despite the indication that there will be no conflict with mods already installed, there will be a small restriction. Any mods that were added by modifying game files will not appear in REDMod menus.
NexusMods, the most popular mod site for Cyberpunk 2077, said it will create a label to indicate which mods are compatible with the DLC. The administrators of this project also assure that they will keep all mods, regardless of the method of installation.
Make the most of the community
More and more developers are open to the possibility of users generating additional elements. These elements are positive, as they help to expand the capabilities and functionality of the game. Likewise, they attract new users and allow those who have been playing for a long time to stay.
Undoubtedly, Minecraft is the game with the most mods in history. The game allows you to modify virtually every element of the game and this opens the door for users to generate amazing things. Texture packs, x-rays or user adding new blocks are just some of the mods created for the game.
It’s clear that CD Projekt RED saw a big seam and wanted to make it easier to include mods in Cyberpunk 2077. This will help generate more additional content for the game and the arrival of new players. Who knows if we’ll end up seeing an Auron and Ibai server from Cyberpunk 2077.
