What many don’t know is that you won’t need a rare 3D printer or printer to be able to print decals and decals, you can only do it with the one you have to the House. Enough to give it a more playful use that you might not have thought of. I will explain how to do it and what you need.
Stickers with your printer
To make an adhesive print you will only need special paper, nothing more, most printers have no problem taking all kinds of paper as long as it remains within the operating margins.
The sticker papers that exist today are so thin that they are barely distinguishable from a normal sheet of A4 paper, so your photocopy will come out exactly the same as the ones you always make, but with a type of paper that you can use to paste what you drew.
Within these, you can buy whole pages and cut the print as you wish, or buy them directly pre-cut into pieces (A4 paper divided into 2 parts, 4 parts, 16 parts…) in case you would like to do the same design multiple times with only one side.
You can find them on Amazon or any physical stationery store in your city or town, they are more common than people think and although they are also more expensive, they are not something with which you are going to go bankrupt.
Here I will leave you those that I use and that have always given me good results, although if you need another model or design you can surely find them easily.
Remember that although your printer accepts all types of paper, you must select the size of these. Don’t buy anything other than A4 if your printer doesn’t support it. Take a good look at it because this type of paper is designed for multiple uses and sometimes its size is not that of a normal sheet of paper.
Also keep in mind that you are using a photocopier, not a cutter, your copies will take up space on the page, but they will not come straight out for pasting, you will need to use scissors first so be careful when choosing a design which don’t be super irregular.
Now that you know that by simply buying the paper you can make stickers, surely many ideas come to mind, whether for hobbies or utility, they have more than you think. Don’t write the salt and sugar jar with a pen. Get yourself a sticker!
