Created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko in 1962, no one expected a guy whose superpower spun webs from his hands to become one of the comic book scene’s most beloved characters, which led him to act in films, series and, of course, video games. It is for this reason and to celebrate that we will soon be inundated with character content, that we bring you here the top 5 most successful games, in terms of sales.

5.Spiderman (1994)
For those who grew up in the 90s, this game is pure childhood. Taking elements from comics and mythical end-of-the-century series, this game was a complete revolution nearly 30 years ago. With an outrageous cast of characters, it was a complete success, achieving 3.13 million units sold worldwide.
4.Spiderman 2 (2004)
Adapting what is for many the best superhero film, this title which, curiously, had the cast of actors from the film to give voice to the characters of the game, allowed us to relive epic moments like the train scene or the battle at the bank against the fearsome Doctor Octopus. It managed to sell 3.41 million units worldwide.
3. Spider-Man: The Movie (2002)
If the second part was legendary, the first film directed by Sam Raimi marked a before and after not only in the world of cinema, but also in that of video games since it was one of the first adaptations of the new century. Also, the controls were surprisingly smooth for the time. Worldwide, it has sold 4.48 million games.

In this episode, Peter Parker would pass the baton to his apprentice Miles Morales in a game that launched the PS5 itself. With a fairly good story and gameplay that has exploited the novelty protagonist
1. Marvel’s Spider-Man
As King of the Mountain, we have one of the best-selling titles in Sony history. Frantic combat, charismatic characters, and one of the best character stories ever told make this the best game, not just Spider Man, but Marvel in general. Plus, he was a beast in sales, realizing an incredible 20 million units worldwide. You have it available for PS4 and PC remastered here.
