Being a streamer is all the rage these days, and a lot of young (and old) want to get into this world, even if it’s purely a hobby. However, some realize that depending on the content they want to stream, they need to have a specific PC and components for it. At least if they want to do it in a decent way.
Today we are going to see what are the minimum requirements necessary, in addition to those of the computer, to start your journey on Twitch or similar live platforms.
Requirements to be a streamer
The first thing is to know what your content is going to be about, basically because that is what will make us opt for certain requirements or others.
It’s not the same that your content is going to be based on a direct conversation with people where the important thing will be to find a good camera, that you want to be a gamer and have to make games of a level and d a very high working power.
In the first case or in any other where the important thing is not a very powerful computer, what must be taken into account above all is the internet connection, which is sufficient to be able to transmit at least in 1080p. In the case of being a gamer or wanting to play content that requires powerful hardware, you should not only take into account that the game works for you. You may have been playing Diablo IV fine for a while but the day you put down your screen to stream it will wank or not work properly. And it must be taken into account that a transmission program uses a lot of hardware to be able to perform its function, so you must have requirements higher than those recommended to consider this supplement.
Another option if you don’t want to change computers is to buy a video capture device that will work like your PC, since you’ll be freeing it from some of the work. But anyway you have to make sure you have a minimum of power, a computer from 1990 is useless no matter how much you buy the best capture card.

Depending on the platform and application you use for your broadcasts, as well as the quality at which you intend to do it, you will need some requirements or others, however, those of Twitch itself can give you a idea of where your pc should work fine.
