Our verdict
There’s very little to criticize when it comes to the X10 Pro Omni. It’s feature-packed, vacuums well, and has advanced object recognition. It’s also a good price. If it’s on budget, it should be at the top of your list.

$799.99
The X10 Pro Omni is Eufy’s current flagship robot vacuum, with an impressive feature set. It does pretty much everything you’d expect from a robot vacuum: vacuums, cleans, empties, washes, and dries its mop pads. And all this for less than models from competing brands with similar specifications.
But is it the versatile, inexpensive product it initially appears to be?
We’ll take a look.
Design and build
- 3L water tanks
- 2.5L dust bag
- A sweeping brush
Dark and imposing, with deep tread tires, the Eufy X10 Pro Omni looks like a robot vacuum and mop that means business, serious business.
The robot has a satin black plastic shell with a LiDAR navigation tower and a trio of power buttons on top, as well as a camera and LED lights on the front. The charging contacts, water injection point and dust collection port are on the back. The trash canister sits under a flip-top lid.
Two of the three buttons have dual function, so you can perform basic tasks without opening the app. You can turn it off and on, return the robot to the station, and start a one-time clean (as well as reset the Wi-Fi connection and turn the child lock on or off).
The robot itself is a large piece of kit measuring 35 x 32cm (12.6 x 16.6in) with a low profile of 9cm/3.5in, so it should fit under most furniture without issue. The deep tread tires on the wheels make it look like an off-road version of a typical home robot vacuum and have a monster truck touch. As our tests showed, the robot was able to easily cross raised room thresholds.
There is only one brush. The two removable cleaning pads are large, approximately 15cm in diameter.
The Omni Station measures 46 x 36 x 22 cm (18 x 14 x 8.7 inches) and is something of a dominating presence in a room. Once you install the removable base plate on the front, the footprint expands to 48cm/18.9in, meaning you may want to place it in a laundry room or a cloakroom, rather than a living room or hallway.
The Omni Station has two 3L tanks that slide into the station on the left, the dirty water tank behind the clean one and the trash can on the right which accommodates a 2.5L dust bag. 140cm power supply fits in the back, giving you reasonable flexibility as to where you place it.
Performance and Features
- Suction 8000Pa
- Ai.See object recognition
- Pro-detangling comb
Installation is simple: unpack the robot, remove the protective covers, install the base plate on the station and plug it in. You’ll need to think about station location, as you need reasonable proximity to a plug point and a viable location. distance from a wall, and once you have performed the mapping procedure, moving the station later means you will have to map again.
Then turn on the X10, add water to the tank, let the robot charge and download the Eufy Clean app. To connect, you need to activate your smartphone’s location, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. We found that the connection was seamless and we were good to go. The X10 Pro mapped the space quickly and accurately and exceeded a threshold of 2cm, where other robot vacuums have struggled. This also divided the space rationally.
The Eufy Clean app homepage offers three cleaning scenarios – Full Home Deep Clean, Full Home Daily Clean, Post-Meal Clean – and you can add a custom scenario.
In the custom scenario, you can select “smart mode”, which automatically selects a cleaning strategy based on the room type. You can choose a quick, standard or deep cleaning intensity, whether you want to vacuum, mop or just vacuum and mop, the suction level you need and the mop level. You can also select a near-edge mop, which will cause the robot to spin when cleaning near the edges of a room so it can clean closer to the walls.
You can also choose to clean once or twice and select a specific room or area to clean.
We found that the X10 Pro did a very good job of vacuuming. The dust bin filter will trap small particles and we noticed lower dust levels during repeated vacuuming sessions.
As for the flour test, the Pro X10 needed two sweeps of the floor with maximum suction to remove all the flour. We found this to be pretty good, as it’s a difficult task for a robot vacuum.
Naturally, there are real-time reports via the smart map in the app, and what impressed us is the object recognition feature. If the X10 Pro hit a stray cable, a small cable icon appeared on the map. You can also configure the robot to take photos of obstacles if you wish.
Vacuuming took about a minute for 9 square feet, on average, so a 161 square foot room would take 17 minutes. We found that the X10 Pro took about an hour and twenty minutes to vacuum an entire 527 square foot floor. Noise levels are not particularly noticeable in use, even at maximum suction.
The cleanup is also pretty impressive. The X10 spins its mops at 180 rpm and uses 1 kg of downward pressure to clean the floor. At a high water level, we found that the floor felt damp to the touch, which was more evident than other robot mops we tested. The mop pads only go down when the device is actively cleaning, and the robot returns to the Omni Station to wash the mop pads and dry them at 45°C heat.
App Features
- Multi-card capability
- Adjustable base station settings
- Obstacle Photos
- Smart tracking
The X10 allows you to choose recording to multiple maps, so you can map and store more than one floor map: a great option if you want to use the
You can adjust the mop’s auto wash, dry, and empty settings. So you can set the Omni station to wash the mop every time it finishes a room, or after a certain period of time between 15 and 25 minutes. The drying sequence can be set to 2.3 or 4 hours, and you can set the robot to empty every 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes.
If you don’t want to wait, there is an option to empty the dust or wash and dry the mop directly.
You can set a cleaning schedule and schedule a start time, days you want the schedule to run, which part of the house you want to clean and how. You also have a cleaning history that lists the date and time of your cleanings, the floor area cleaned and how long it took.
If you have a hard floor and carpet, you can set the robot to automatically lift the mop when it detects carpet, avoids carpet, or cleans carpet.
There are also manual controls that allow you to personally direct the robot in real time, and you can turn the AI on or off. Visualize obstacle avoidance and even set the robot to take photos of obstacles it finds in your home – if you feel comfortable doing so. The data security of Eufy’s robot vacuums has never been in question, but security vulnerabilities have been discovered in Eufy’s security cameras. Additionally, Eufy collects some data about its customers, so you may prefer not to use this feature.
The X10 Pro also has smart tracking. Once activated, you press the front bumper with your foot for three seconds and it will follow you as you walk, cleaning every step of the way.
Within the app you’ll also find the usual ‘Do Not Disturb’ and child lock settings, as well as an accessory services page which gives you the remaining life of your side brush, rolling brush, your filter, sensors and dust bag, as well as videos on how to change them. You can also control the X10 Pro with voice commands via Alexa and Google Assistant.
